The majority of deaf sign language users are able to communicate
with you very effectively using BSL/English Interpreters. However a
small number of deaf people have additional needs and will not cope
effectively.
Joanne is able to adapt to meets the needs of:
• Deaf people who use a international sign language
(i.e. immigrants)
• Deaf children
• Children and adults with communication impairments ( i.e. learning
difficulties, adults with minimal language skills and those with limited
ability due to a stroke etc)
• Deaf people who do not know sign language (language isolated)
• Deaf people with mental health
• Visual frame signing and hands on signing (deaf-blind clients)
